Enemy Alien is a poetic retelling of the experiences of Joseph Murakami, a fourteen-year-old boy, summarily rounded up by his government on the basis of his ethnicity, and the loss this traumatic event imprinted upon him.
Built on the words of its subject, Enemy Alien recreates the emotional journey of this overlooked historical event from a unique perspective to ask pertinent questions about Australia's history and future.
Enemy Alien is a Masters Capstone Production produced at the Australian Film, Television, and Radio School.
Currently in Post-Production.
